An epidemic like Corona has not subsided yet and the cyclone knocked off the Bay of Bengal. People have already been affected by the Corona epidemic, and now this cyclone knocked on the Digha coast of West Bengal.
Cyclone Amphan is one of the most severe storms in the Bay of Bengal in the last few years. Amphan was also the first super cyclonic storm in the Bay of Bengal since the 1999 Odisha cyclone. Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC) noted that a tropical depression had formed on May 15, whilst the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) followed suit on May 16. A day later, Amphan began to explosively intensify and in just under 12 hours, Amphan became an extremely severe cyclonic storm.

On May 18, at approximately 12:00 UTC, Amphan reached its peak intensity with
3-minute sustained wind speeds of 130 knots (150 mph; 240 km/h),
1-minute sustained wind speeds of 140 knots (160 mph; 260 km/h).
On May 19, between 10:00 and 11:00 UTC, Amphan made landfall in West Bengal. At the time, the JTWC estimated Amphan's 1-min sustained winds at 85 knots (100 mph; 155 km/h). Amphan rapidly weakened once inland, and it became a remnant low by 12:00 UTC on May 21, 2020.

Cyclone Amphan, once the strongest storm on record in the Bay of Bengal, poses a deadly risk in a vulnerable part of the world.
The storm is trying to take out 3 million people, causing damage to the states of Odisha and West Bengal as well as officials in neighboring Bangladesh, noting that the region is one of the most vulnerable parts of the world.

Both India and Bangladesh have made considerable progress in recent years with relocating vacant areas and residents vulnerable to storm shelters. But this year has been complicated by the corona virus epidemic efforts. Many residents are afraid of visiting them.
This storm is one of the strongest storms in the world. However, Cyclone Amphan is sometimes a "super cyclonic storm" at the peak of hurricane intensity, pushing the water toward shore that is stronger with stronger storms.
Hurricane Katrina struck the Gulf Coast as a Category 3 hurricane in 2005, but its rise corresponded to a Category 5 hurricane, as it previously had Category 5 status. A storm surge is usually a storm-driven rise in dry water.
The storm is caused by both rain and flood.

This dense population killed thousands and displaced thousands in the last storm. The cyclone that struck Odisha in 1999 killed about 10,000 people in northeast India. The deadliest storm on record globally was the Bhola cyclone of 1970, which caused landslides in Bangladesh and killed 300,000 to 500,000 people.
Like many powerful storms in recent years, Tropical Cyclone Amphan passed with rapid intensity Sunday night, feasting on the warm waters of the Bay of Bengal and the absence of wind gusts that could hamper its circulation, as well as me May be abundant.
The Indian Navy is on high alert on the east coast for relief efforts.

The most powerful cyclone to hit the coasts of #Bangladesh and #India in a decade, devastates already struggling communities. #CycloneAmphan pic.twitter.com/KT8rrYXIY6— CGTN (@CGTNOfficial) May 21, 2020
